Brief content description

Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the student should have acquired the capability to understand and to analyze the hystorical-scientific concepts related to the role of science in the modern society. Applying knowledge and understanding: The student at the end of the course should be able to analyze the relationship between science and society using the acquired knowledges.. Making judgements: The student at the end of the course should be able to study and recognize by himself appropriate, specific examples. Communicating skills: The student at the end of the course should be able to describe with appropriate technical language and a correct formalism the subjects presented in the course. Learning skills: The use of english books should stimulate the learning skills and to go deep in subjects connected with the ones presented in the lessons.
