Brief content description
This is a first, introductory, course on QFT, a subject that is by now very extensive. Therefore we firstly aim to give students the philosophy that sits behind such discipline, covering only introductory material, in order to be able to give students tools they can already use to perform specific computations. For such a reason we will only concentrate on scalar particles and spinor particles and will leave aside more advanced subjects such as gauge theories, non perturbative aspects of QFT, BRST methods, Standard Model physics, that will be covered in the second, more advanced, course on QFT.

How to apply for a single subject course
Students can enrol in up to 3 subjects for each academic year,
even if they are not enrolled in other study programmes in Italy or abroad.
